Most apps charge $5–$15 a month for a clunky AI feature wired to a single provider. GroceryApp doesn't. We built the app to route to whichever AI you already use — Apple Intelligence on-device, or Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini if you have those installed. Your prompts stay where you can see them.
No bundled subscription
We charge for the app, not for AI tokens. Use whatever you already pay for — or use nothing.
No SDK, no server
No third-party AI SDK is linked in the binary. Your prompts go directly to the provider you choose, never through us.
On-device first
Apple Intelligence runs on-device on supported hardware. Falls back silently to your chosen provider when it can't.
Don't want any AI? Toggle it off in More → AI. Every AI surface in the app disappears.

Paste a recipe link or text — AI parses ingredients into a shopping list. No more typing every line.
Suggest Category
Tap the sparkle in any item to auto-categorize it. Uses Apple Intelligence on-device first; falls back silently if unavailable.
AI-Assist new list
Generate a starter list from a single prompt — "camping for 4", "Thanksgiving sides", "weeknight dinners".
Siri & Shortcuts
"Hey Siri, what do I need at the store?" Add items, create lists, mark items bought, all hands-free.
And it's a great grocery app, even without the AI.
The fundamentals are tight. AI is on top, not in place of, a real app.
